Pelican uses a gateway to manage all devices on a network. The gateway provides a single connection point to the internet for all connected devices on the Pelican wireless network. Each Pelican gateway can manage up to 2000 devices. The gateway is the beginning point of a Pelican system, add a thermostat and you can scale up as needed from there.  See pelicans security article for more info for the IT department at your site. 

Pelican has two different gateways to meet your needs...

GW400: Ethernet Gateway- Plugs into ethernet port

GW400LTE: Cellular Gateway- Uses a cellphone signal instead of using on site internet, good for high security places or temporary monitoring or places with not internet.

There is also the repeater to cover gaps in the pelican wireless network on the site. WR400 is the part number.
